Still Waiting

So, it now has been four weeks from the time the Stake President submited my papers. I though that I would have my call by now. However, this is not the case. I was informed that there was miscommunication somewhere and the electronic papers got sent, but the physical papers were not sent. They were sent last week, which means I have about two more weeks to wait. I'm not mad or even worried. I am mostly patient. I think the wait is driving my mother mad, though. I keep telling her that it will happen when the Lord is ready and there is prolly a good reason for the delay! I am very excited about my call and going on a mission. I get more excited every time I go to the temple. For those of you who didn't know, I went to the temple to get my endowments for on May 2nd. Since then I've been back three times. It is the most amazing place in the world and I love going there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mission!

For all of you that don't know, I put my mission papers in two weeks ago. Still waiting for my call, though. I decided back in February to go, but told only a couple of people and swore them to secrecy. I felt like I wasn't going anywhere here in Show Low, like there was no room to grow. So i had been praying and fasting about it and I decided that a mission would be the best course. I have had several experiences that support my decision, but the strongest happened last month. You have heard about the recent budget cuts in education all over the US. Well, Show Low decided to cut eight people from their school district and I was one of them. The fact that I do not have a job here has only strengthened my resolve that I am supposed to be going on a mission! My mom thinks my call will be coming this Thursday. Any other guesses?

Oh! I am also going through the Temple this Saturday, the 2nd at 8:30 in the Snowflake Temple! WooWho!!!! I am so excited!

A couple spare minutes

So like I said before, I'm a slacker. I decided that since I had a spare five minutes at school, I would write something! This is the second day of the 4th quarter of school. It is the second semester and I'm not even in the 1900's in my history class yet. The way the school works around here is that we teach an entire years worth of classes in one semester. They have four classes each day 1st semester and 4 new classes second semester. It's a tough schedule. Not only am I teaching US/AZ history class, but I am also teaching English 11. Oh joy! I took one, ONE, English class in college. Thank goodness I leaned how to write papers in my History classes! Last semester English wasn't so bad because it was Honors. However, this semester it is harder. I am glad to say though that I think I am getting the hang of it. The last couple days have been great! I really do like teaching, but teaching something I don't know is difficult. I hope I survive! Only two more weeks to spring break and 9.5, not including spring break, till the end of the semester! Yay!!!
